Observation Report

Name of School Observed:Tagoloan Central School Location of the school: Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental Date of Visit: December 4, 2013_                Take note of the following and write them in your observation report. 1.      Number of bulletin Board Displays: : 4 bulletin boards 2.      Location of Bulletin Board Displays(BBD): The location of Bulletin boards is in the library room, outside of the ICT and library room. 3.      Describe each BBD in terms of the following: a.       The message(s) it provides :TCS TRANSPARENCY BOARD Images and color :_The color are all pastel and light colors and theirs no images. b.      Arrangement of information/messages :_The title of the bulletin board is centeres and the messages are in 7 columns 4.       Materials used in the display : The materials being used in the display are cartolina and papers. 5.       Errors noticed, if any :_there’s no error I’ve noticed. 6.       Borders, if any :_there’s no borders 7.       Clarity of messages :_The clarity of the messages is to know the transparency of the money used.

An Evaluation Report of a Bulletin Board

Location of the Bulletin Board Display:_Outside of the library and ICT room and it is under the tree branch Description of the Bulletin Board: :_The bulletin board is plain white and pastel colors, it is well posted. EVALUATION EVALUATION STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES Educational Content (messages) The message state the transparency they have and can clearly be seen by people and student. The message should be clear and there’s enough evidences for the transparency. Image/Color The color is just right and they compliment each other. It should had a image more decorations and more colors. Arrangement of Information The arrangements of the information are arranged properly. The informations should be arranged clearly according to the things they’ve used. Material Used The materials used is just enough, it can be used properly. More decorations should be used. Others The place is well enough to be seen by the students. The placing of the bulletin board should be seen clearly by the students. Recommendations or Suggestions for improvement :_The bulletin board should have more colors, decorations and letters should be big enough to be seen by the people and a students.

From what you have observed about the bulletin board dislay, what are the skills must be developed by a teacher?

:_the skills must and should be developed by a teacher is the creativity because a creative teacher will be given a chance to be promoted and their students can appraise the teacher, more positive comments can be like by the teachers.

Did you have any experience designing or making a bulletin board? Which skill do you have already?

:_I’ve been experiencing on designing and making a bulletin board when I was in high school, our bulletin board always in first place, the skills i have already is creativity, patience, and positive thinking.

Are there skills you think you still need? Reflect on how you can acquire and improve on these skills.

:_i think i still need to improve this skills because when i was in high school i am the interior designer of our classroom, my teacher always treated me and say this you need more to improve your skills because it can be used in the future. So that why, i’m always practicing and helping my self to improve my skills.

Answer:_The materials are well arranged and they classified into their functions such as library room where in the books are arranged and also their classification just like in ICT room, e library and library.

Are the guidelines in place to facilitate access of the teachers to these resources?

Answer:_There are guidelines in their place so that they can facilitate and can easily access for the teachers and students.

What are the strengths of the resources?

Answer:_The strengths of the resources are for helping the students to understood their topics in every lessons they had, for their projects and everyday life.

What are their weaknesses?

Answer:_The weaknesses of these resources are they are not well functions especially the computers, the edition of the books aren’t updated and the resources are less.

What do you suggest to improve the resources?

Answer:_I suggest to improve their resources they should always update the editions of the books, the computers should always maintained.

Which of the materials have caught your attention most? Why?

Answer_The Non-electronic resources, because all the resouces are books all the resources are well mannered arranged and also I like books.

Which gadget/equipment are you confident to use operate?

Answer:_Computers and tablets and laptops.

Which equipment do you feel you need to learn more about?

Answer:_The equipment I feel to learn more is the tablets.

In what way do you think will  you learn to operate such equipment?

Answer:_I will learn to operate such equipment by practicing it.

MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

                      2013? The year that I can truly say good and bad I can't say something good or something because it is truly a year full of blessings and challenges/problems. It is a year where my greatest expedition in life complicated. Starting from the wonderful experiences I had:  First, I became a Student Leader in the Education department, second having a new gadget which is Smart Broadband Pocket Wifi was given by my Aunt in New York, third having a good classmates and best friends, fourth vacation and birthday celebration Camiguin Island (summer break po nagyari) and lastly I visit my father in Camp Phillips, Bukidnon Cemetery which I truly ciend the most. Having many wonderful experiences but I only stated which I remembered. Next is major challenges. All of us sinansabi na if there's a blessings nandiyan den si problema parang kambal, kambal na nga Yin Yang lang sa Japanese. In the year 2013, ang pinaka the most ko na experience is magkaroon nag failed sa isang major subject, second in the department but ginawan nang action so walang problems, third is my Study Habits, hindi gaano ko nag aaral pero ginawan ko na naman. Pero this major challenges ginawan ko nang paraann yet ang life talaga my ups and downs ika nga ang functions so some naging ups and some naging downs ganyan talaga ang buhay hindi perfect. 

                  Avoiding all these negative things para hindi na mangyayari sa 2014 at sa next year, I should think positive and gagawain na kun ano ang dapat gawin. I should improved my study habits so that para mataas na ang mga grades ko and stay who you are sabi nang mga best friends and classmates ko. Future plans, hindi ko pa rin yan iniisip pero gusto ko sana i continue ang business of my father and sana makapag aral sa labas nang bansa pero kukunin ko Fine Arts naman para maiba, and then makapag turo dito sa Philippines. For me, God has been set my future aheads. 

MY CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE

Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.

Christmas is the season wherein all the people celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. In this season also we releasing our negative energy into a good energy. People celebrate Christmas in other places, some are in their houses and some are in the outside of the country. 

In my Christmas Holiday experience, I spent my break in my place in Block 36 Lot 7 NHA Phase 2 Kauswagan Cagayan De Oro City, but deep inside in my heart I heartily wanted to have my Christmas break in Bukidnon which is my residence place where I graduated elementary 'till high school. Circumstances came I didn't went on Bukidnon. In my Christmas break I was with my mother, and the gifts I received it is not a materialistic thing but a Pocket Money which I gladly received 500 pesos worth of gift certificate from Gaisano given by my Tita, 1,000 pesos given by my Aunt in New York via ATM card, 500 pesos from my godfather, 500 pesos from godmother and 1,000 pesos given by SECRET. I think my favorite gift I received is the Pocket Money given by my relatives, even I am a silent type person which they know yet they given me money. From their gifts I received, I give them my presence because I am the silent type person yet they want my presence in their houses. I enjoyed my Christmas break even in the midnight of Christmas day because  my mother and I slept together then in the morning of December 25 we celebrate the day.

Christmas for me, it is not just a materialistic, money, food thing that can make you enjoy and happy in Christmas day but it is the presence of the persons whom you loved that can make you happy. Sharing happiness to others is the true meaning of Christmas Day.
